A one-for-one donation for our furry friends! 

This summer, Sewing Down South is proud to partner with Pet Helpers as a part of our Dog Days of Summer! For every dog item purchased in store or online, we will be donating a Modern Polka Dot Dog Bowl to Pet Helpers.

What is Pet Helpers? 

Pet Helpers is a local “no kill” animal shelter in Charleston. Their mission is to “end the euthanasia of all adoptable cats and dogs by keeping all animals until adopted; providing low cost spay/neuter surgeries; offering humane education programs; pursuing animal cruelty prosecution; and initiating animal welfare legislation”. They believe that all animals deserve to find a home, and they will not under any circumstance euthanize an animal due to a lack of space. 

Want to get involved?

There a many ways of getting involved in Pet Helpers. You can volunteer at the shelter as either an individual or a group. You can also participate in a foster program where you foster either dogs or cats until they are ready to be adopted. By doing this you also get the chance to be an adoptions ambassador and will help find the animal their forever home.

Sew what can you purchase from SDS to donate a bowl?
