Founded in 2018 by Craig Conover, Sewing Down South offers thoughtfully curated collections of pillows, merchandise, and lifestyle accessories inspired by a love for the south — and of course, the art of sewing.

First witnessed by millions on Bravo’s hit reality show Southern Charm, Craig’s journey began with nothing more than a sewing machine and a passion for creating. His story of determination and grit has helped him, alongside partners Jerry Casselano and Amanda Latifi, grow Sewing Down South into the brand it is today.

Welcome to King Street
After successfully launching an e-commerce site, and with no plans of slowing down, the Sewing Down South team opened its flagship store in May 2021. Located in Charleston, SC, along historic King Street, the store offers an intentionally designed experience inspired by Southern living. From a porch swing adorned with the latest pillows to iconic photo ops and can’t-live-without brand merch, the flagship is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring CHS.
Collaboration
Through partnerships with leading retailers, Sewing Down South has developed exclusive collections with brands including Thomasville Furniture, HSN, E. & J. Gallo, Kroger, and HomeGoods.
The brand continues to expand its reach through collaborations with FabFitFun, Belk, and Aubree Says. In Fall 2025, we were thrilled to launch SDS Textiles, in partnership with Missouri Star Quilt Co.
